Tess joined Dougan & Associates in the spring of 2022 and has a background in design and ecology. After completing a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture at the University of Guelph, she went on to get a graduate certificate in Ecosystem Restoration at Niagara College.

Through her professional and educational experience, Tess has gained field skills in botanical and herptile identification and surveying, ecological land classification (ELC), and monitoring. Additionally, she gained design skills in woodland restoration, wetland restoration, rain garden design and is proficient in AutoCAD. Tess is an ISA Certified Arborist and OBBN practitioner.
