Wendy Charron has professional work experience in the environmental industry dating back to 2003. Her areas of expertise include project management, natural heritage characterization, environmental impact assessment, botanical inventories, wetland boundary delineation, Species at Risk monitoring, reptile and amphibian surveys, and technical report writing. She is a certified OWES Wetland Evaluator, Butternut Health Assessor, and has completed the Ontario Ecological Land Classification (ELC) training course.
As part of the D&A team Wendy regularly works in co-operation with project stakeholders including clients, municipalities, and conservation authorities to complete ecological field assessments, analyse data, and produce meaningful reports.
During her career, Wendy has been involved with a wide variety of ecological projects including previous work positions with the Nature Conservancy of Canada, Kawartha Region Conservation Authority, and Environment Canada. Wendy currently works with the D&A team from her home office in Borden, Ontario.
