Christina is an Ecologist and Consulting Arborist who thoroughly enjoys fostering positive relationships with clients, team members, and the natural world. Her Honours BSc in Biology is complemented by a post-graduate diploma in Ecosystem Management Technology. She joined the D&A team in 2016 as an Ecologist, and her demonstrated experience and leadership within the firm’s Ecology Team have allowed her role to evolve into an operational management position. Christina works closely with the ecology, design, and GIS team on all projects. She is skilled at coordinating large-scale field programs and deliverables to ensure client expectations and timelines are met. Christina is an ISA certified Consulting Arborist and holds OBBN (Ontario Benthos Biomonitoring Network) and OWES (Ontario Wetland Evaluation System) certifications. In terms of fieldwork, her areas of focus include Ecological Land Classification, botanical inventory, tree inventory and assessment, wetland and woodland boundary delineation, Species at Risk bat habitat and acoustic surveys, nocturnal amphibian call surveys, benthic macroinvertebrate sampling, and Jefferson salamander trapping.
