Our Approach
Dougan Ecology’s experience working in remote northern environments enabled our team to efficiently plan and deliver complex field programs for a gold mine client under challenging logistical conditions. Drawing on our deep understanding of Arctic ecosystems, we implemented a coordinated and adaptive approach to collect high-quality baseline data within a short northern field season.
By collaborating closely with the client and regulatory agencies, we aligned survey methods with expectations early on—streamlining review and approval timelines. Engagement with local field technicians further enhanced data quality and strengthened community relationships.
The success of this project highlights our ability to anticipate logistical challenges, navigate complex regulatory frameworks, and deliver reliable environmental data for resource development in the North. This expertise positions Dougan Ecology to effectively support future mining and infrastructure projects across Canada’s northern regions.
